Welcome to Allied Health Pathways E3!

Allied Health Pathways E3: Exposure, Experience, & Excellence (AHPE3) is a program designed to close the extreme diversity gap within allied health professions, particularly in Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology. AHPE3 provides an unprecedented support network to African-American and Latino students by bringing together business and academic partners including Early College High Schools in Dallas and Tarrant Counties, 2-year and 4-year colleges and universities in Tarrant and Dallas Counties, the University of North Texas, the UNT Health Science Center, the UNT Speech-Language Laboratory, Paramount Rehabilitation Centers, Parkland Hospital, Seniors in Motion, and Cottonwood Rehabilitation. These partnerships allows us to create a time-efficient and cost-effective pathway to a lucrative career for students. Using direct transfer agreements between our partners, we plan to accelerate your transition from Early College High Schools to two- or four-year institutions, from two-year colleges to four-year universities, and from bachelors degrees to professional degrees to facilitate your entry into the allied health field of your choice.

Students who participate in AHPE3 will receive specialized academic advising, mentoring, and access to professional school admissions experts. We’ll also be working with you to jumpstart your career by facilitating shadowing/observation opportunities, voluntary and paid internships, training in Spanish for healthcare settings, relevant certificate attainment, and exclusive networking opportunities. Our mission isn’t just to help you earn a degree; we'll help you prepare for a stellar career in allied health!
